Environmental Policy

Protech Plastics Containers is an injection moulding company producing plastic products for a wide range of customers from a number of different sectors.

Based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, we are part of the OnePlastics Group. By monitoring and evaluating the environment impacts of our activities, we seek to prevent pollution and operate in an environmentally responsible manner.

We are committed to complying with relevant environmental legislation and any other requirements to which Protech Plastics Containers subscribes. This environmental policy shall be communicated to all persons working for Protech Plastics or on our behalf; it shall also be made available to the public upon request. By setting appropriate objectives and targets we aim to reduce our environmental impacts. In particular we will:

• Ensure wherever technologically possible that all internal scrap is reprocessed.
• Reduce virgin material consumption by using recycled or reprocessed material in our products and packaging, but without compromising customer and consumer quality requirements.
• Purchase where practicable, the most energy efficient machinery with the aim of reducing our energy demands.
• Work with suppliers and customers to encourage them to reduce their own environmental impacts.
